Start with the source definition, population and period. Measure your own baseline before setting targets. For example, the hybrid-work experiment's 33% relative attrition reduction and 2.4-percentage-point difference describe the same result, not two independent benefits. The Microsoft report also distinguishes general meeting activity from a high-volume subgroup; those populations should not be mixed.
